It all starts with the music, a pencil, letting it all out, and channeling the energy in whatever form it comes. Hans creates, collaborates, and strives to re-think the ‘norms’ that have numbed all to many of our senses. Growing up in the beautiful Rockies of Colorado, Hans explored fine art and architectural design at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduating, he went to live, teach English, and paint on the sunny coast of Barcelona. Upon his return to the States, he quickly resumed an equally Bohemian lifestyle, calling Venice Beach, California home. In 2009, after several, dedicated years in architectural design, Hans decided to wholeheartedly pursue the development of his personal studio, HANSOMEI.  Reengaging his perspective on life, he has pushed to extend his own boundaries, reaching outside of his comfort zone and expanding his artistic path.  We must move on, change is the only constant.

Founded to promote creativity, SPILT fosters ambitious talent, open ingenuity, and a fresh way of thinking. It functions to establish platforms through which enterprising ideas, artists, designers, and people can come together and grow.

SPILT is the brainchild and dedicated work of Hunter Leggitt

and Hans Walør. Based in Venice, CA and artists in their own right, these long time friends from Boulder, Colorado have set

out to redefine how we embrace creativity. SPILT is conceived from their vision of bringing together people to share stories, develop great ideas, and create experiences. From communal dinner parties to creative exhibitions and experimental installations, SPILT creates unique opportunities that enhance

the world around us through the pairing of collective openness with the ambition of innovative minds.

Hunter creates things and experiences.  A Colorado native, he has spent the last six years in Los Angeles and San Diego pushing the boundaries of architectural design. Experiencing the limitations of the conventional architectural practice, Hunter left the business to pursue a more hands-on, European approach in design/build development.  Though having two of his recent modern houses with Sebastian Mariscal Studio featured in the Museum of Contemporary Art, he is nowhere close to settling in.  Along side his design pursuits, Hunter seeks to create unique projects and experiences that enrich our lifestyles and legacy.
